ABOUT THE POSITION
- Lead the onboarding of salaried new starters ensuring these are conducted efficiently and professionally and where necessary carry out induction of salaried staff.
- Recruitment and Selection of salaried staff: offers of employments issued efficiently, ensuring effective co-ordination of relevant departments.
- Responsible for the MI reporting in the business. Producing monthly absence reporting, recognising trends of absence.
- Maintains Policies, procedures and processes for HR Department are consistent. Work with HR Director for regular legislation updates and roll out
- Responsible for the maintaining monthly compensation and benefits including pension, additional benefits, salary
- Manage complex ER cases with support of HR Business Partner, Head of HR & HR Director
- Effectively manage HR Administration team to support wider business
- Supporting line managers with grievance/disciplinary, sickness and absence proceedings, coaching and mentoring alongside company policy and procedure and Employment law
- Responsible for the administration of leaving correspondence, leaver emails, calculating outstanding annual leave, exit questionnaires, monitor and record information contained on exit questionnaires, and updating org charts
- Assist with ad hoc projects as and when required
- Work to the business and company ethos at all times
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong Administration skills able to manage and coordinate complex documentation and reports
- Able to work autonomously and manage own workloads
- Build confidence and respect from each department and key stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate effective prioritisation, time-management and workload planning skills.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and Employment Law
- Good knowledge of working rule agreements and Union activity
- Experience of developing change initiatives, implement change
- Deliver in line with people strategy and business needs
- CIPD qualification L5 and above or equivalent
