Works Co-ordinator - Sellafield

About the position

The role of the Works Coordinator is the daily management and resource profiling of a number of operatives tied to a large task or project. The ability to communicate with both client and KAEFER personal is essential whilst have a key understanding of the task/ projects priorities.

Key duties and responsibilities;

>         Attendance at the daily plant operational meetings

>         Working closely with Construction leads to determine priority delivery of head of work.

>         Liaise with Supervisors to ensure Scaffold compliancy is available to support prioritised work to be delivered or designated timescales for completion of standard solution compliancy documentation as well as bespoke scaffold designs

>         Discussion with Supervisors to collate information after stakeholder meeting to assess bespoke design or standard solution (Bespoke design will require task specific RAMS, timeframes for erection and dismantling of structure as well as labour resource required.

>         Assessment of daily available labour taking into consideration planned leave and daily sickness.

>         Collaborative assessment daily of other work / trades with construction team to avoid clashes.

>         Daily review and adjustment where required of the priorities based on all the above.

>         Contingency list of work to ensure efficient use of resource if trade/ work clashes are identified affecting planned work.

Qualifications, skills and experience 

>         Ability to organise own work effectively and efficiently

>         Proficient in Excel

>         Ability to understand complex drawings

>         Chartered surveyor/Structural Engineering

>         Access solutions, Work at Height practices and scaffolding procedures

>         IOSH Managing Safely / SMSTS

>         CITB Temporary works accredited

>         Relevant CISRS qualification
