Contractor of the year – again! 🏆
We’re proud to share that our KAEFER UK & Ireland team at Phillips 66 Humber Refinery has been awarded Contractor of the Year – for the second time in just three years!
This award recognises the incredible work of contractor groups on-site, covering everything from safety performance, leadership visibility, and mental health initiatives to inclusion, diversity, and apprenticeship programmes.
This year, our team stood out for several key achievements, including:
🔹 Leading the site in Mental Health Awareness, ensuring that wellbeing remains a priority.
🔹 Driving LEAN and continuous improvement, staying ahead and implementing smarter ways of working.
🔹 Working the highest contractor hours on-site with zero LTIs, reinforcing our commitment to safety.
🔹 Being part of the 5% Club, demonstrating our investment in apprenticeships and skills development.
Bob Paduch, Operations Manager at KAEFER UK & Ireland said:
“KAEFER is extremely proud to receive this recognition from Phillips 66. This award reflects the hard work, planning, and collaboration between our team, Phillips 66, and all contract partners. Since being awarded the contract in 2020, we’ve been committed to continuous improvement—building a strong safety culture and ensuring that everyone goes home in the same condition they arrived.”
This achievement is a true testament to the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork of our P66 team. A huge well done to everyone involved!
