Gordon Allison’s Firewalk Challenge!
Back in February, Gordon Allison took part in a unique challenge, a Firewalk event raising awareness and funds in support of Down’s Syndrome Scotland.
We asked Gordon about his experience:
“The experience was great, not only raising money and awareness for a great cause, but also pushing myself outside my comfort zone. The firewalk was great and the motivational workshop beforehand was just as engaging, with the highlight being snapping an arrow with your neck!”
The event, organised by Firewalk Scotland, combined a motivational workshop with the ultimate test: walking barefoot across hot embers. Designed to challenge limits and build confidence, the session clearly left a lasting impression.
Gordon raised an impressive £207.50 for Down’s Syndrome Scotland! In a letter of appreciation, the charity recognised his achievement, saying his courage and commitment will help support vital services, advocacy, and community initiatives for those with Down’s syndrome and their families.
Taking part in such a challenge really shows Gordon’s willingness to step outside his comfort zone embodying the KAEFER values.
Well done Gordon! Thank you for representing KAEFER in such an inspiring way.
