Winter Driving Toolkit

Winter Driving Toolkit

As we enter meteorological winter, now is the time to prepare.

Remember to carry out your vehicle checks, carry daily essentials and plan for longer travel times.

Unlike astronomical winter, which starts later in the month, meteorological winter aligns with the coldest three months of the year, December, January, and February.

Winter conditions significantly increase the risk of accidents. Slippery surfaces from frost or snow reduce tyre grip, whilst heavy rain and fog can impair visibility.

Even the most experienced drivers can get caught out.

Please take a moment to read the attached Winter Driving Toolkit, issued by Driving For Better Business.

Stay safe this winter.
