LOCATION: BRENT BRAVO, UK NORTH SEA

KAEFER UK & Ireland was tasked with providing rope access support to the main project for the decommissioning of the Brent Bravo platform, in readiness for the heavy lift vessel to remove the platform from the station.

The work involved the installation boxes under-deck to allow for the heavy lift vessel (HVL) to come and remove the asset. The work the KAEFER rope access teams carried out was high risk but due to the control measures in place this 2.5 year scope was carried out without major incident.
