KAEFER ac­quires Wood’s in­dus­trial ser­vices busi­ness in the UK and Ire­land

We are very proud to an­nounce that the KAEFER Group has ac­quired Wood’s in­dus­trial ser­vices busi­ness from John Wood Group PLC in the UK and Ire­land.

KAEFER acquires Wood's industrial services business in the UK & Ireland

The busi­ness is be­com­ing a wholly owned sub­si­di­ary of the KAEFER Group. It is planned to merge KAEFER Ltd and Wood’s in­dus­trial ser­vices busi­ness into one com­pany that will op­er­ate as KAEFER all over the UK and Ire­land. With our joint ex­pert­ise in the in­dus­trial mar­ket, we will be able to provide cli­ents with ad­di­tional ca­pa­cit­ies, know-how and pro­ject man­age­ment cap­ab­il­it­ies.

Wood’s in­dus­trial ser­vices busi­ness em­ploys ap­prox­im­ately 2,000 highly skilled people at 16 loc­a­tions all over the UK and Ire­land. The com­pany provides high-end ser­vices for in­dus­trial op­er­a­tions, such as the ap­plic­a­tion of pro­tect­ive coat­ings, ac­cess solu­tions, thermal in­su­la­tion, pass­ive fire pro­tec­tion and spe­cial­ist ser­vices, which fits per­fectly with KAE­FER’s core busi­ness.

KAEFER in the UK serves a vast and grow­ing range of in­dus­tries with as­set in­teg­rity ser­vices, in­clud­ing ac­cess solu­tions, in­su­la­tion, in­spec­tion & test­ing, pro­tect­ive coat­ings, as­bes­tos man­age­ment and more. The com­pany cur­rently has 12 of­fice loc­a­tions across the UK, em­ploy­ing ap­prox­im­ately 1,200 highly skilled and ex­per­i­enced people.
