KAEFER UK & Ireland Announces 5-Year Partnership with the Down’s Syndrome Association

KAEFER UK & Ireland is proud to announce the launch of a five-year corporate partnership with the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA), building on a valued relationship that began in 2021.

As a leading provider of technical industrial services, KAEFER is committed to making a positive impact beyond the worksite. Since first partnering with DSA, KAEFER colleagues across the UK and Ireland have raised over £13,000 to support the charity’s vital work, while also helping to raise awareness of learning disabilities and Down’s syndrome across our business.

We have been particularly pleased to support  WorkFit®, the DSA’s specialist employment programme. WorkFit helps people who have Down’s syndrome access meaningful employment opportunities that match their skills and aspirations. In 2021, we welcomed two employees through the programme into permanent, part-time roles in the north of England – a proud milestone for our business and a first step in growing inclusive employment.

This year, our support extended to My Perspective 2025, the international photography competition showcasing the talents of photographers who have Down’s syndrome. We have also contributed to the DSA’s Speech and Language Programme, helping children with Down’s syndrome to develop essential communication skills.

Chris Foulkes, CEO of KAEFER UK & Ireland said:

“At KAEFER UK & Ireland, we believe in building partnerships that make a real difference. We are privileged to be able to continue our support for the Down’s Syndrome Association through a new five-year agreement, this is something we’re incredibly proud to announce. Together, we’re not only raising awareness but also creating opportunities through programmes like WorkFit, which help people thrive in meaningful employment. We look forward to seeing our partnership grow and the positive impact it brings to so many families and communities. Down’s Syndrome Association you can COUNT on us.”

Carol Boys, Chief Executive of the Down’s Syndrome Association commented:

“Support from companies is crucial for our charity as it helps to provide the many services and programmes that benefit thousands of people who have Down’s syndrome and their families. We are delighted that KAEFER UK & Ireland have extended their valued support to the Down’s Syndrome Association for five years.”

Together, we’re working towards a more inclusive future — one where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
