KAEFER UK & Ireland Awarded Major Access & Insulation Services Contract by Nuclear Restoration Services
KAEFER UK & Ireland is proud to announce the award of a four-year contract to provide access and insulation services in support of Nuclear Restoration Services’ (NRS) decommissioning programme across the United Kingdom.
This significant contract award builds on more than a decade of successful collaboration between KAEFER and NRS, during which KAEFER has delivered asbestos removal, demolition management, and other critical services across the UK’s nuclear estate. The expanded scope reflects NRS’ confidence in KAEFER’s technical expertise and proven capability to deliver solutions in highly regulated environments.
This award marks a major milestone in our long-standing partnership with NRS, reinforcing KAEFER’s role as a trusted partner in the nuclear sector. With over ten years’ experience working together, we have developed a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities of nuclear decommissioning. Our continued focus on safety, quality, and technical excellence has once again been recognised. The new contract covers ‘Lot 1 Northern sites’, which includes five sites and represents a significant step forward in the collaborative delivery of the UK’s nuclear decommissioning strategy. KAEFER’s continued involvement supports NRS’s commitment to leave a positive, long-lasting legacy through continuous improvement and the highest standards of safety and compliance.
