KAEFER UK & Ireland is delighted to announce the launch of a five-year corporate partnership with Down Syndrome Ireland

KAEFER UK & Ireland is delighted to announce the launch of a five-year corporate partnership with Down Syndrome Ireland, marking the next step in our ongoing support for people with Down’s syndrome and their families.

As a leading provider of technical industrial services, KAEFER recognises the importance of creating inclusive opportunities, not only within our business, but across the wider industrial sector. Our industry depends on teamwork, diverse skills, and people who feel valued and supported. By partnering with Down’s syndrome charities, we can help to break down barriers, raise awareness, and encourage inclusive employment practices. Supporting organisations like Down Syndrome Ireland is part of our responsibility to make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.

KAEFER has been working closely with Down Syndrome Ireland since 2021, supporting their incredible work in providing essential services across early development, education, employment, health, and advocacy. Since then, our teams have taken on a wide variety of fundraising activities – from prize draws and the “50 for 50” challenge, to running, cycling over 1,000 kilometres, and even tackling the Camino Mozárabe in Spain, walking up to 30km a day for six days. These efforts have raised vital funds and awareness, while bringing colleagues together with a shared purpose.

Alongside this, KAEFER has raised over £100,000 since 2021 to support Down’s syndrome charities across the UK and Ireland, including Down Syndrome Ireland, Down’s Syndrome Scotland, and the Down’s Syndrome Association.

Chris Foulkes, CEO at KAEFER UK & Ireland, said:

“We are proud to have supported Down Syndrome Ireland since 2021, and formalising this partnership is something we are incredibly pleased to announce. Together, we are raising awareness and helping to create opportunities through the vital services that Down Syndrome Ireland provides in education, health, and employment. We look forward to seeing this partnership grow and the positive impact it brings to families and communities across Ireland. Down Syndrome Ireland, you can count on us!”

Aidan Stacey, CEO at Down Syndrome Ireland, said:

We are delighted to continue our partnership with KAEFER UK & Ireland and are incredibly grateful for their commitment to supporting Down Syndrome Ireland over the next five years. Their continued support plays a vital role in helping us deliver essential services and programmes to thousands of people with Down syndrome and their families across the country. KAEFER have shown themselves to be true advocates for our community, and we look forward to growing this meaningful partnership together.”

This formal partnership with Down Syndrome Ireland will allow us to build on that success, while focusing on new challenges and opportunities to make an even greater impact.
