KAEFER UK & Ireland Appoints Lisa Marshall as HSE Director
KAEFER UK & Ireland is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Marshall as our new Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Director.
Lisa brings more than 27 years’ experience in health, safety, environment and quality leadership roles across a range of high-hazard industries. Her career spans the chemical, mining, oil & gas, quarrying and energy-from-waste sectors, with experience across both UK and international operations.
As a Chartered Fellow of IOSH and a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM), Lisa is recognised for her strategic approach to safety, her ability to drive positive cultural change, and her commitment to developing the next generation of safety professionals.
I’m delighted to be joining KAEFER UK & Ireland and working alongside such a committed team. Safety is about people, and it should never feel distant or dull. My aim is to ensure everyone feels confident to speak up, share ideas and learn from one another, so together we continue to raise standards and keep each other safe.
Lisa joins KAEFER inspired by the businesses’ strong focus on safety and continuous improvement. She is particularly keen to build on KAEFER’s already established Behavioural Safety Programme, while further embedding a culture where learning from events and sharing best practice are central to how we work.
Over the next 12 months, Lisa’s focus will include:
- Embedding a culture of learning from events to help prevent the reputation of unsafe behaviours
- Strengthening the way knowledge, good practice and lessons learned are shared across the business
- Engaging with teams at every level to ensure safety is visible, approachable and a shared responsibility.
We are very pleased to welcome Lisa to the Executive Leadership Team. Her extensive experience working across both customer and contractor environments, in the UK and internationally, brings valuable perspective to KAEFER. Lisa’s appointment further strengthens our commitment to safe operational excellence and continuous improvement in health and safety. I look forward to seeing her build on our strong foundations and help lead our business into the future.
